Configuring Mozilla Firefox for faster browsing…

logoI thought I would write a quick article showing Firefox users how they can improve the speed of the browser itself by tweaking it’s settings.

Bear in mind, this won’t resolve any issues you have relating to a malware infection but it will certainly improve the speed that the browser itself works…

Give it a go..

Open Firefox, and in the address bar, type: about:config

Next, look for the settings below, and change the value to the numbers shown below:
network.http.max-connections: 48

network.http.max-connections-per-server: 16

network.http.max-persistent-connections-per-proxy: 12

network.http.max-persistent-connections-per-server: 6

network.http.pipelining: true network.http.pipelining.maxrequests: 8 network.http.proxy.pipelining: true

It really is as simple as that, now simply restart your Firefox Browser and notice the difference in speed…
